It’s been a long week. I can tell by the fact that it’s precisely 8:30 and my eyes are barely staying open. I hate the rain. Getting wet, Molly coming in with that classic “wet dog” smell, puddles that for some reason I cannot avoid when really trying and umbrellas. Oh the umbrella’s. I hate those things. But today, it was different. I left work and headed over to meet my team for some serious team bonding. Though I could feel the time ticking away. It’s been raining a lot, but never when I get home. Today was my day. I have an Olympus OM-D EM-5 which is weatherproof. After some playing with the camera, I really wanted to take it in the rain to test it out. It seems silly, but I was really excited for the rain. So I raced home, grabbed a new battery and stood outside in the pouring rain. Yes, me. Getting drenched, walking through puddles… but no umbrella. Quite liberating. So now that I have this camera, all I can say is bring on the rain.
