On an unrelated beauty note, the Broncos are now tied with the Ravens. And it’s raining. I’m not liking this one bit!
On a related beauty note, I picked up a few goodies from my local Macy’s at the Clarins counter. I always buy my Clarins from Rose at the Macy’s counter because she’s the best! There were a couple of things I had my eye one plus I can’t resist a deal. Clarins is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. I just did my evening skincare photos and 4 of the 5 products were Clarins. Obsessed.
I got a cleanser/toner duo. The cleanser is a foaming cleanser for oily skin. I love Clarins cleansers. They are really, really good plus reasonably priced. The duo is $21. You get the cleanser plus the toner for free. I like the size of the toners because they are good amount to try out or re-fill for my vanity.
Their makeup is also quite good and shouldn’t be overlooked. That’s primarily what I went in to look at. I love the bronzer I picked up in the summer of 2012 and couldn’t resist the newer release for spring.
The Rouge Eclat for Spring is a gorgeous powder. I think this can be used as a natural blush since it has a peach tone to it, but I’ll probably put all over my face. Fair complexions will like this because it’s light enough that you can literally just slap on your face without thinking twice. It gives my face a little life. I will note, it does smell. I love the smell (maybe slightly floral?) but if you don’t like powders with scents, you might want to sniff before you buy.
The Clarins shadows are quickly becoming a favorite. They are smooth and easy to blend. They are light, but still pigmented and are easy to wear. Many have pretty shimmers in them that don’t look disco-ball. I bought silver green and taupe.
The face powder is $35 and can be found at Nordstrom. The eyeshadows can be found on the Clarins website. Don’t forget Ebates if you order online! What do you think? I love these pretty naturals for everyday!
