I’ve had Dior Amber Diamond highlighting powder for sometime now. Everyone raves about it on YouTube and blogs alike. Though I do love that one, I’ve always had Rose Diamond in the back of my mind. It makes a lot of sense, though. I’m not a bronzed goddess; in fact, I might even be the opposite of that. I’m pale with pink undertones. In the summer when I have a bit more color and try to bronze it up a bit, Amber Diamonds is always my choice. Though now that I lean for less bronzed looks and more cherries in the snow looks, I wanted a pink highlighter. Enter Rose Diamonds.
It comes packaged in the normal Dior outfitting including sleek deep blue packaging and a velvet pouch. It doesn’t have much of a scent (at least to me). The packaging, while pretty, had my grubby little prints all over it within seconds.
It’s quite shimmery, but unlike traditional highlighting powders it leans quite rosy toned. When I applied this, I thought “snow angels”. It goes better with my skin tones as well as my pinkier blushes. This was more shimmery than my Bobbi Brown shimmer brink, but less glittery with a more buttery texture.
If you’re looking for a luxurious pink highlighter for your face and eyes and you already love Amber Diamonds, Rose Diamonds is worth a peek and swatch. Sephora and Nordstrom carry the product.
