Erin Condren Calendar

Today was my first official day back at work so you already know it was hectic. To add to the chaos, it decided to snow a foot and Indiana thought it would just be stupid to plow. Hence, a 20 minute commute turned into an hour and 20 minutes. I really want to keep up with blog posts and was hoping to get some photos of the snow today. As much as I want to punch it in the face, it can look quite beautiful. I thought I’d be a super nice wife and shovel the driveway for my husband so I didn’t get a chance for photos today – but I’m hoping tomorrow.

Since I got a happy Erin Condren surprise in the mail today, I thought I’d show you what I got. You guys know I’m obsessed with Erin’s work! I recently got a $25 credit due to unforeseen issues. I went on right away and picked out a pretty new item to try. I got a colorful classic deskpad ($30).

No surprise to me, the packaging was bright, cheery and I knew right away what it was on my doorstep. I know some people don’t like the extra touches, but I love!

Even the inside had a cute little “Enjoy!” sticker. I freaking love those. I will enjoy, Erin… I will! I loved the red tissue paper on this one. It’s about 10 degrees outside with a foot of snow, I’ll take the cheery packaging that instantly lifted my mood from shoveling snow!

the deskpad

I got mine customized with my name. These deskpads are multipurpose so I don’t have to use a sheet everyday/week. It has a space for notes, doodles & to-do lists. It has a 2014 calendar printed at the bottom for reference.

the calendar

How adorbs is this cheery calendar at the bottom? Insta pick-me-up. I love how happy it is. Look down, happiness. Although when I’m in a bad mood, this might just make me angry. Lucky for Erin today I was in a mediocre mood and accepting of cheeriness.

on the desk

I stuck this on my desk for size purposes, but I think I’m going to keep this way. My magic mouse works fine and when I’m ready to write, I will just move it to the side.

I was going to take this to work, but because of our clean desk policy, I’m thinking it’s probably better I don’t argue and leave it here. This is a good way to write down ideas, usernames, etc anyway. When I’m at my desk at home, I like to write down what I am looking at because it’s easier for me to rememeber if I write it down. For a long time I haven’t been writing stuff down and I’m hoping these Erin Condren products will help. I purchased the marker set separately with my life planner and I’ve really liked them so far. I love the idea of the color coding in my life planner, but I think it will become more tedious than it’s worth. I’m thinking I’ll just use a pen or pencil for that and bring the markers in here. That way, it stays fun and colorful.
