FI: Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation

As I’m off traveling in Toronto I thought this would be a good time to knock out a few quick first impressions and a haul for you guys. First up is the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation!

Perricone MD has recently launched a new skincare range. I’m unbelievably excited to get my hands on the full range, but my local Sephora only had this one product as this time. This foundation has actually been around for a long time, just being re-promoted with the launch. I’ve had my eye on it for awhile and finally decided – it’s go time.

I’ve been using this foundation for a few days now. All I can say is wow. This foundation is really effortless, smooth and blends great. I’ve used my Marc Jacobs the Face 2 brush & my fingers and both are great. I always wear over primer, but I have no issues with wear time. I did set today with a light powder and it just mattified it a touch which I prefer, but the longevity either way was fine.

This comes in a very disappointing 2 shades and is a light coverage foundation. What I found odd was how it eliminated redness and evened my skin tone and there was definite coverage… by my natural skin shined through. What?

It has spf 30 and other skin care benefits. I’m not sure of the long-term effects, but my skin looks really good after a long day. Perricone MD really know their skin care.

I love the pump and product overall and am just really sad at the shade range so more people can’t enjoy. They say you are supposed to mix with other products (like their new serum foundation or bronzer) to create a custom shade, but that just sucks. It’s $55 and for what it does, I like! Keeper!
