GloMinerals Review!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I recently had a fun spa day with the wonderful Ella who has started a new path selling a new line of cosmetics. She said I’d love the products and I really do! I’ve tried them all and had some extra time with a few of the products and wanted to do a first impressions/demo for you. Most of these you can’t get in stores, only in spas. What’s great about the brand is the products are loaded with great skincare. Win. They are super easy to use and I think would work well for a variety of people out there. They put no money (or very limited) into advertizing. It goes back into making their products better. Which, I love, but I wish more people knew about this brand!

Above I’m wearing all the products I purchased. If you want to see a full GloMinerals look, than checkout this post. I picked up the SPF 40 Oil-Free Sunscreen, Under Eye Primer, Camouflage Oil-Free Concealer, the mint balm, bronze in sunlight, pressed base in natural light and brow gel in taupe. I got 2 items for free as they were having some special and that was the lip pencil in petal and the gloss in nude. I’m wearing all those products in the photo above. I love them all, especially the powder and concealer. The under eye primer is pretty good… and the bronzer is gorgeous. I’m aware I have a problem.

Oil Free SPF 40+: Heavy out of the tube, but lightweight on. Doesn’t clog pores and makeup doesn’t ball up over it.

Pressed Base: Finely milled and provides a ton of coverage. I often wear a sheer base underneath, but if I’m in a hurry, I just apply this. I was afraid of mineral powders, but this one feels good on my face and doesn’t include talc.

Bronze (Sunlight): The famous bronzer by FlowerBomb31 (Natalie). It’s super natural looking and will show up on a variety of skin tones as a bronzer or highlight. I can’t really tell if there’s shimmer in it as it just looks like more of a glow. So soft and easily running to the top of my list as a favorite bronzer.

Camouflage Oil-Free Concealer: Perfect for face & under eyes, this has a great finish. Somewhat waxy and creamy all in one. Lasts and lasts with great coverage. I wish there was a travel size (more like Bobbi Brown’s) so this would fit in a bag easily. This isn’t as creamy as Bobbi’s so I don’t notice as much creasing (similarly the Marc Jacobs).

The Mint Balm: This is huge, but provides great SPF for the lips. I love the smell (sucker for mint) and it’s a nice to have for sure.

Brow Gel (Taupe): Is easy, breezy and one of my favorite brow gel’s. I think it looks really natural & understated but is perfect for blondes who want order in their life, but still want to look natural.

Under Eye Primer: I love this stuff. It feels weightless under the eyes and helps prevent creasing or issues with anything under the eyes.

Wanted to show the coverage of the powder. I have some redness that it covers no problem. I used a Trish McEvoy powder blush for application. This is WITHOUT a base, only powder. I love the way it makes my skin look. It wears nicely, but you will get glowy throughout the day if you have oily skin. I quite like the effect, but some may not.

I also got the lip pencil in petal and gloss in nude. Both are pretty, apply nice but aren’t must-haves. I will use them I’m sure, but I am glad I got them as free gifts.

What about you? Tried this brand? What do you love?
