I’m learning way more about engines than I’d ever care to know. After Monday, I was pretty content about what I’d learned… Problem is I still have 3 more days of training. 😀 I have taken a part the combustion & turbine portions of the engine… Now on to the gearbox & compressor… Exciting, huh? Luckily one of the people in my group is a mechanic and can translate to manual to English for me. Naturally, a good bath was in order tonight. Magic Mushroom by Lush was my poison. Yum.
I love my laptop and still use it often. Though, as I get more involved in trying to keep up with my blog, it’s been easier to use my iPad occasionally. To create a full-on blog making machine, you’ll need the photo transfer kit from Apple (sold at Apple, Target & Best Buy). This comes in really handy, I just hook up my camera to my iPad and I can start transferring photos. Next, I use Photogene iPad app. While slightly pricy, if you’re looking for a great iPad photo editing app, this has been by far the best. Super powerful with a good handful of editing presets plus all the usual like contrast & brightness. Quick and easy to use, you can’t go wrong.
To actually blog, I use the WordPress app. It’s actually the main reason I installed WordPress instead of Moveable Type on this blog. Then, I caved and bought the iPad keyboard. I thought I would hate it, but I’m totally addicted. If you plan on doing any major typing on your iPad, it’s a must have. I love having a full-sized keyboard and it’s got an extra port in the back so I can still use my camera connector with it installed. Brilliant.
