I finally downloaded the new Mac OS the other day – Lion – and I forgot what a pain it is to install a new OS. All the countless updates and restarts. Though, this time, you had to purchase through the Mac App store so I didn’t have to get a CD or buy a disk – I simply just installed. That was really nice. I’ve been running programs and getting them all updated and I’ve been spending so much time on my iPad I almost forgot how powerful and great a real computer can be! Not that I don’t still love my iPad or anything. So far, I do like Lion. My magic mouse seems to be even more magical. Win.
Speaking of iPad, I downloaded a new (free) app that adds cool affects to your photos called Pixiromatic. It’s really cool. If you have photos on your iPad I think you’ll enjoy it.
I cleaned the house and did laundry so to reward myself I went to Sephora. I am dangerously low on my favorite Chanel powder, so I thought I’d buy a new one. But seeing as I’ve been super Chanel-centric lately, I thought I’d venture to try something new. I bought 2 new lipsticks/glosses from YSL this summer, so I thought I’d see what YSL had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised. They had a really silky smooth powder that I picked up – and of course, an adorable heart in the middle. How can I not fall in love? It doesn’t have an SPF in it, but that doesn’t worry me. It’s also slightly more sheer than the Chanel powder that I’ve grown to love, but honestly, that doesn’t bother me, either. I think I might try it for the next few days – the beauty of Sephora’s amazing return policy!
Seeing as I love, love the Volupte Sheer Candy Lipsticks/Glosses so much, I also couldn’t resist a new lipstick. So I got a lipstick in Nude Beige which I love. These lipsticks are AMAZING. I don’t usually like lipsticks, but I think I might be a convert…
