I think it’s happening. I resisted for a long time, but I’m probably going to be getting Lightroom. I think Lightroom 5 comes out sometime in June or early July. I have Lightroom 4 for a 30 day trial on my computer now. I probably will still be importing items into Aperture as I love that it links to my cloud and does lots of good, simple edits.
Though, my biggest beef with Aperture isn’t that it’s not good, it’s that no one uses it! Seriously, try to find some info on Aperture and it’s damn near impossible! There’s so much info, support and presets for Lightroom 4 and now that costs have gone down (I might just buy Lightroom 4 when Lightroom 5 launches), it’s probably reasonable.
I think it’s just one of those things. You know, I need both. Totally.
On to the photos for this post – I took a nature photography class yesterday morning (it seems like light years away now – what’s up with that?). It went really well, but I didn’t get to do a ton of shooting. Here are a few that I took.
I am also excited as I got a few new bits and bobs to take photos with. Backgrounds, clamps, more lights. Ooooh baby. Sometime this week I should be able to do more videos after company leaves. I’m excited to do some more shooting and some reviews.
Hope you had a great weekend! I’m ready for more shooting!! Let’s do this.
