So yesterday I went to Louisville and it was really fun. I went with 2 of my friends on a shopping trip. It’s one of my favorite trips to take – I have no idea why I love that place so much. Actually, I take that back. I know what I love: Toast, Red Tree, Lush, Captain’s Quarters with an river view, and Louisville Bats games. This shopping trip, I didn’t get much. I of course left with a little Chanel and a little Lush, but that was about it. Being the shopper of the group, I was pretty happy with my great restraint – my friends couldn’t say the same. That’s ok, though. It made it fun. We did run into a big adventure – crazy storms. You may have heard a few people were killed at the Indiana State Fair when the stage at a Sugarland concert collapsed – Louisville was not immune, either. We were rushed inside and about 5 minutes later, the craziest wind and rain ensued. So strong, in fact, it blew down a HUGE tree that fell on the restaurant. I can’t believe, still, it didn’t break a window or do any real damage. Luckily it didn’t last long and we made our way home just as it hit Indiana later at night. The worst part was the snake on the porch when we got home. Ew. Just ew.
I wish I had taken photos of the weekend – I just wasn’t thinking. I promise I’ll do better next time. I’m going to Louisville October 1st, so I’ll do a better job then – I swear! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
