Opening Night 2014

I think we’ve been to opening night at Indy Indians stadium for the last 5 years or so. This year was a little tight seeing as I just flew in from a long trip to make the game. We did it somehow. It was one of the nicest nights we’d ever had on opening day. Usually it’s cold, windy and/or rainy. This year, it just took us WAY too long to get there. There was something blocking us and as luck would have it, we hit it at the perfect time. We arrived fashionably late, but still enjoyed going to the first Indians game of the season.

We managed to just beat the rain (thank goodness because it literally starting pouring as I slammed my car door shut). I’m sure there will be lots more games to come this season. Here’s to opening day & spring actually arriving (fashionably late).

What’s opening day without popcorn and hot dogs? Not really sure.

There’s a new third base coach. We are sad to see the other one stick to his manager duties. It’s weird seeing someone else out there!

And it’s gone, folks!

The Indians won. 4-3 in a walk-off single.

Not a baseball game without Rowdie.

This girl was so funny. You know there’s a baseball game going on, right?!

Welp, I’m getting ready for this long weekend and hopefully “normal” life again. Though anymore, I’m not 100% what normal is. I think normal now is insanely busy with a side of Saks.

xoxo, Andie
