You already know I’ve fallen in love with One Love Organics, but one product I thought I’d give some extra attention to is the Vitamin D spray.
This baby has a cult following and it’s no wonder why. It’s multipurpose, refreshing & gentle. There is a subtle smell that doesn’t linger and is great for all skin types. And let’s face it, we can all use a little extra vitamin D in our lives. The “secret” ingredient is Shiitake mushrooms. Who knew those big mushrooms were an excellent source of vitamin D? One of the things that I love about this product is that it’s really gentle, but feels so good. My skin drinks it up no matter how I apply it. And as crazy as it sounds, I think this product is making me feel better. Yes, winter blues are hitting hard (I’m from the sunshine state of Colorado after all, so Indiana takes it’s toll) but I’ve noticed a big mood boost the more I use it.
I’ve always loved vitamin C, but it’s actually not good to buy it in products. It has a very short shelf life and is best when mixed from powder to put on your face. Ain’t nobody got time for that. What I’ve found with this product is that it also really boosts radiance and glow. The tone of my overall skin is much improved and I’m fairly certain it’s this product.
I’m finding it tempting to try the vitamin c serum, but I know that it’s not in it’s tip-top form and if I really want to put vitamin c back in my life, I’ll have to mix and mash it myself. This vitamin D spray is easy, effective and full of great ingredients. I’m not really sure there’s such a thing as “anti-aging” but I do think there’s such a thing as taking care of what you’ve got. This product is a great start.
I also mention this as an alternative to the Caudalie beauty elixir. This doesn’t have the same aromatherapy effects, but I find it more soothing, better ingredients & just as good to set make up or for a general refresher mid-day. If you want something a little less… smelly… and a little more… better for you… I’d try the Vitamin D mist.
Also, my goal is to blog 2 days a week minimum. I’ve tried to do a schedule, but it works better for me if I’m flexible. My life is too crazy for a schedule. So I recommend following me on Bloglovin’. I always thought it was kind of silly, but it really is a great way to see my posts as they come.
