Finally got to an Indians game. Last night was opening night, but we had to miss because of our softball game. The good news was that because it was only 57 degrees outside last night during first pitch, we got to redeem our tickets for tonight.

We did the usual when we head to the park – Build-A-Burger. It’s one of our rituals when we go. Though the Indians lost, it was a great game. Quite a few great plays and the second baseman hit a triple (not sure of all their names yet). Although the highlight of the night for me was the 3-year-old I sat next too. The Indians have a “dog” (I think he might actually be a bear) for a mascot named Rowdie. Child: “Mom, where did the dog go.” Mom: “I don’t know. We will have to watch for him.” Child: “Is he pooping?” Mom: “Maybe.” The kid was sure Rowdie was pooping the entire game. Hopefully Rowdie had a good newspaper with him as I didn’t see him again until the 7th inning.
