Let’s try this again, shall we? First off, I have decided to try to get around to doing a full video review in the next few weeks. The initial review/post was very long… and most likely boring. So I will just cut to the chase:
I purchased the mirror from Vanity Girl Hollywood. I was able to find a promo code for a small discount, but it has since expired (sorry!). The mirror I bought was the glossy white Broadway tabletop mirror.
A word of caution: the base on this mirror was much larger than I was expecting. If you have a small/shallow table for your vanity, I would consider the hanging version of this mirror. I know it’s the smaller mirror with 6 lights thats available to hang, but you might want to think about it if you can’t afford to have a large base on your vanity.
Also, the company put some tape on the mirror to put a message on the mirror and the sticky residue is still on my mirror even after scrubbing for quite some time. I think it will come off, but it was quite annoying.
Bottom line: I’m very happy with the mirror. I do think this appeals to a certain audience. I’ve always wanted a fun vanity and initially pictured a very hollywood style area that included a mirror like this one. The lights are very bright and the mirror is great quality. I thought of this as more of a furniture purchase and I’m really happy I got it. I think it adds a lot of fun to a previously boring room. I love the dimmer switch and the outlets in the front of the mirror.
Photos below: Please ignore the ugly cover on the desk. I haven’t gotten my glass top yet, and I needed something to shield the cheep Ikea desk. Table from Ikea. Vase, small mirror & glass jar from Anthropologie. Bracelet hanger made by my husband with knobs from Anthropologie. Shadow boxes for perfume and nail polish from Target. Clear Muji drawers (small). Drawer organizers from Walmart. Brush holder & beads from Michaels.
