So I thought these videos were fun & “easy” to do when I was really tired. Who knew home renovations and work and life just knocks the wind out of you? I literally had 0 extra time yesterday so I only snapped photos of the products, nothing on my face. One of the main things was I have decided to try to get use of my Guerlain Les Ors primer and my Clarins Fix’ Make-Up spray. These are 2 items that are lingering in my collection. I don’t hate them, but I don’t love them either. The primer is a lightweight primer that adds some hydration. The golden glow doesn’t translate much and defiantly not through foundation. The Fix’ spray is ok as well. I find it helps a bit so I’m not opposed to using it, but I find a good primer is better on me.
I pulled out my Chanel Velvet foundation and I forgot how much I love! I also pulled out my Tom Ford blush in Flush. Ohhhh Tom Ford blushes are amazing. I need to wear these more! Most of the rest is just the classic favorites – Lancome LE Summer 2014 palette (I love the yellow/golden color), Les Beiges 40, Becca Opal and YSL Gloss Volupte. Pretty straightforward!
I switched up my bag to the One Love Organics bag… which I LOVE. It’s a cute cotton bag and I actually have 2. I got one with a gift set and one as a gift with purchase. Win. I totes need 2 because I LOVE them. Ok, I’m tired guys. 🙂
I loved using Chanel Velvet so much I reached for it again on day 3. I switched up my brows to a different Anastasia product – the dipbrow. This is a really natural looking dark blonde and I really have fallen in love with it. I use it with their brush in 15 which is perfect for the application of this product. I used the Crazy Terracotta bronzer from Guerlain which I love as well. It’s really easy to blend and apply so it’s perfect when you don’t want to try too hard. Lips were the Chanel Coco Shine in Satisfaction. This is actually a really creamy nude that I’ve talked about before. I am not a huge fan of the shine formula, but this is different.
So for eyes I busted out the Chanel. I mean, everyone needs a little Chanel in their life. Trust me. I applied illusion d’ombre in Mirage all over the lid and for a pop of glitter, New Moon was my man. Or lady. Whatever. I love my Tom Ford eyeliner in Metallic Mink except for the fact that I hate it. Oh being a girl! It’s the most gorgeous, perfect, smooth color EVER. But the cap broke and it often gets smashed or the tip will fall off if it’s too sharp. It also smudges which I don’t mind too much, I think it typically looks perfectly undone for the most part. But it does happen. I wish the packaging was better and for Tom Ford, it’s slightly disappointing.
